FANTASTICK Dextrin produced as intermediate products in the hydrolysis of starch by heat, acids and enzymes. Their nature and chemical behavior depend to a great extent; upon the kind of starch from which they are derived. Dextrin is polysaccharide intermediate between Starch and Sugars. Dextrin is one of the number of carbohydrates having the same general formula as starch but a smaller and less complex molecule.
